The motors are 100% recycled so the metals can be reused as raw materials. De Leeuw Metalen B.V. has its own facilities, permits and techniques to recycle the material as best as possible without harming the environment.
A good example of this is that existing wind turbines need to be replaced and recycled at the end of their service life. De Leeuw Metalen B.V. can also demagnetise magnets found in wind turbines, for example.
